The Ontario Soccer Grading Protocol is a result of a 2 year consultation with Leagues, District Referee Coordinators, The Ontari Soccer Referee Development Committee, Staff and Advisory Groups of Ontario Soccer.

The goals of Ontario Soccer's Grading Protocol are to:
• Ensure that grades are meaningful and standardized.
• Ensure that game assignments reflect The Ontario Soccer Appointment & Game Fee Protocol and Grading Protocol.
• Provide effective tools to Districts and Assignors
• Standardize assigning

It is important to understand that grades are based on Referee standards only and may not reflect as an Assistant Referee. It is imperative to understand the Grading Protocol and requirements. This document should be reviewed in its entirety. Ontario Soccer reserves the right to re-evaluate and adjust grading as required.

The Entry Level Match Official Clinic is for those who would like to become an accredited match official on 9v9 and 11v11 games and are 14 years of age (by March 31st, 2015) and older. By taking the clinic a match official is automatically registered for the 2015 season with the OSA and does not have to register again until the following year.
